Meet Caralyn

Caralyn Aufiero is a SAG actress and writer from New England.

She went to NYU’s Tisch School for the Arts, where she studied Musical Theater for primary training. After leaving New York, Caralyn decided to return to Boston to pursue a career on screen. Caralyn has found success in New England’s prosperous film and television market. For her film debut, Caralyn shared the big screen with Mark Wahlberg in Patriot’s Day- during which she established a 0-degree separation from co-star Kevin Bacon. Caralyn also had a speaking role opposite Michelle Dockery in Apple TV’s Defending Jacob.

Caralyn has taken screenwriting classes at Boston’s GrubStreet, a school for creative writing. She is currently developing a half-hour series entitled F*#! THE MAN, a dark comedy about the war between the lower and upper-middle-class in small-town America. Her pilot script was recognized as a Semifinalist for the ScreenCraft Screenwriting Fellowship in 2021.

Caralyn worked in the writers’ room for the scripted podcast Russian Trolls, a satire based on the 2016 American election. Season one is available on Spotify now!

In her downtime, Caralyn enjoys working with clay and hanging out with her dog, Archie.
